CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: Delicate beauty in Oxford, N.S.

Tracey Robertson couldn't help but notice these delicate beauties on her deck rail in Oxford, N.S. Monday morning.  She watched as the sun reflected off the delicate crystals and was amazed at how uniquely beautiful they were.  

Did you know: Snowflakes start high up in the sky when a water droplet freezes around a tiny particle (like a piece of dust), creating an ice crystal. As they fall from the sky, water vapour freezes onto the crystals, creating the six arms of the snowflake.
